The EHFL Hall of Fame was begun in the late 1980s as a way to recognize outstanding owners, NFL players, and (eventually) contributors who made the league what it was. My interest in it has waxed and waned as the years have passed. In 2025 I decided that a standard would be established to guide future selections to the Hall.
- Owners with three league championships or 20 years of continuous franchise ownership with at least one title.
- I use the following rule for NFL players: Any player (qb/rb/rec) who finished in the Top Three in scoring at their positions during a decade (2000 to 2009, for example). The top kicker would also gain entry.
- And player who appears in three or more Hughes Bowl championship lineups.
- Anyone who contributes to the general betterment or lore of the league. Earl Campbell is here as our first ever draft pick (and his play over the first years of the league).
I reserve the right to add or remove anyone at any time. I removed our former graphics guy because of the crazy price hike he sought after many years as a loyal customer.
I’m also going to include players who had outstanding fantasy stats over an extended period but missed out on being among the 'Top Three in any decade' rule. Phillip Rivers, Adam Vinatieri, Larry Fitzgerald, and Morten Andersen are examples of this. The list below is updated as of September 2, 2026.
