First things first...
Dan Scofield took the Playoff Contest with a 13 point win over 2nd Place Jack. Both will be rewarded with bonus waiver bucks for the upcoming 2021 EHFL season. Jack's margin for second was just a quarter of a point (0.28 to be precise) over Keith. So I've decided to add a third place prize as well. Keith will get a yet-to-be determined 'cash' bonus. I can't say for sure what the prizes will be since I'm not sure what the waiver cash 'cap' will be for 2021. That will be determined when we come to a decision on the roster size and claim limits.
I was fourth, 20+ points behind Keith with Rick not far behind. No soup for us.
But Rick did receive his 2020 Championship trophy and his commemorative edition of the Championship Hughes News. That's still my favorite Hughes League 'tradition'. It hadn't occured to me that Tom Brady not only grabbed the two most prestigious titles in the football world, he also won the Hughes Bowl AND Super Bowl MVP Awards. I wonder which one he cherishes more?
I'm pretty much wrapped up with the changes for 2021 (see previous postings here). I will make some other determinations when we get a better feel for how the NFL will look in the fall. I'd love to have it all back to normal but that's still a ways off I think. I will post and email with the new setting as soon as I update the Rules page.
