This is our very first 'Hughes News' newsletter, dated September 9, 1980! It was (mostly) typed on an old Royal on the back of some Houston Post stationery at the Post building, a wonderful place to work back then. Not every issue that year was as elegant. Some newsletters were simply handwritten. We've come a long way in the four decades and change since. |
